منظمة حقوق الانسان في كوردستان تتفقد نزلاء اصلاحية الاحداث و النساء في دهوك
بالتعاون مع شبكة العدالة للسجناء قامت منظمة حقوق الانسان في كوردستان بزيارة تفقدية الى اصلاحية الاحداث والنساء في دهوك وذلك بتاريخ 15/10/2023، المحامي حمدي برواري مدير منظمة حقوق الانسان في كوردستان تحدث عن تفاصيل هذه الزيارة بالقول :
“قمنا بزارة ميدانية لاصلاحية الاحداث والنساء في دهوك وذلك بهدف الاطلاع على احوالهم والظروف التي يعيشون فيها، والتقينا مع الباحثة النفسية الموجودة هناك للوقوف على النشاطات التي تقدم للنزلاء كما التقينا باحدى النزلاء من النساء والاحداث الذين تحدثوا عن الخدمات والدورات التدريبية المهنية التي توفرها ادارة الاصلاحية لهم والمعاملة التي يتعاملونهم بها ناهيك عن الطعام والشراب الذي يقدم اليهم والزيارات التي تنظم لهم”
واوضح برواري انهم خلال زيارتهم تحدثوا مع مديرة الاصلاحية السيدة هدى عبدالكريم محمد وقد صرحت مديرة من خلال مقابلتها بهذا الشهر تم فتح مدرسة للنساء ومشاركة (20) من النزلاء وايضا تم فتح دورة تدريبية مهنية للخياطة ومشاركة ( 46) من النزلاء وتم تكليف الباحثين النفسيين بالقيام بزيارات الى عوائل النزلاء الذين لايقومون بزيارة افراد عوائلهم بالاصلاحية ومعرفة سبب المشكلة ومعالجتها ، وايضا تم توجيه اليها مجموعة من الاسئلة الاخرى حسب الاستمارة الخاصة بالزيارة والتي حضرتها شبكة العدالة للسجناء وتكونت من 106 سؤال وكانت يدور حول النزلاء والمودعين من جميع النواحي القانونية والحياة التي يقضونها هناك، كما التقينا بباحثة نفسية ومحكومة للوقوف عن كثب على الظروف التي يعيشها نزلاء الاصلاحية”
وبين المحامي حمدي عبدالباقي ان هذه الزيارات تاتي ضمن اطار نشاطات تقوم بها منظمة حقوق الانسان مع شبكة العدالة للسجناء في العراق ضمن مشروع ( تعزيز حقوق الانسان في السجون العراقية ) .
جدير بالاشارة ان محافظة دهوك تضم اصلاحيتين إحداهما خاصة بالكبار وهي مديرية اصلاحية زركا والمعروفة بأسم سجن زركا والثانية خاصة بالاحداث والنساء وتسمى مديرية اصلاحية أيتوت وتقع في قرية أيتوت وأيضا معروفة بأسم سجن ايتوت .
The Human Rights Organization in Kurdistan conducted an inspection visit to the rehabilitation center for juveniles and women in Dohuk in collaboration with the Justice for Prisoners network on October 15, 2023. Lawyer Hamdi Burwari, the director of the Human Rights Organization in Kurdistan, provided details about the visit, stating:
“We conducted a field visit to the rehabilitation center for juveniles and women in Dohuk with the aim of assessing their conditions and the circumstances in which they live. We met with the resident psychologist to understand the activities provided to inmates. We also spoke with one of the female inmates and juveniles who discussed the services and vocational training courses offered by the management of the rehabilitation center, as well as the treatment they receive, including food and beverages provided to them and the organized visits.”
Burwari explained that during their visit, they had discussions with the director of the rehabilitation center, Mrs. Huda Abdul-Karim Mohammed. She mentioned that a school for women had been opened, with the participation of 20 inmates. Additionally, a vocational training course for sewing was initiated, with the participation of 46 inmates. Psychologists were assigned to visit the families of inmates who do not receive visits and address any issues. They also answered a set of 106 questions on various legal and life aspects of inmates and detainees, organized by the Justice for Prisoners network.
Lawyer Hamdi Abdul-Baqi highlighted that these visits are part of the activities carried out by the Human Rights Organization in collaboration with the Justice for Prisoners network in Iraq, as part of the project “Enhancing Human Rights in Iraqi Prisons.”
It’s worth noting that Dohuk Governorate includes two rehabilitation centers, one for adults known as Zarka Rehabilitation Directorate, and the other for juveniles and women known as Aitoot Rehabilitation Directorate, located in the village of Aitoot and also known as Aitoot Prison.
