The session witnessed the participation of a selection of successful Iraqi women who shared their inspiring experiences and the challenges women face due to societal and educational obstacles.
The discussions emphasized the importance of empowerment channels such as volunteer work, local organizations, and women’s networks, and how cooperation contributes to making tangible change that serves society as a whole. Ms. Haouri Dilshad, Head of the Human Resources Department at the Justice for Prisoners Network, participated in this session.
The dialogue then moved to in-depth discussion sessions addressing strategic themes such as the sustainability of results, the role of the government, and available resources, where their outcomes were presented to serve as a guiding light for future steps. The meeting concluded by affirming that the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda is a national priority and that its continuity depends on collective work and effective partnerships.
