The third day of the Health Reform Week

The third day of the Health Reform Week activities in Sulaymaniyah witnessed intensive organization of medical and awareness activities. Faruq Medical City and Anwar Sheikha Hospital set up health booths through which they provided preliminary examinations for citizens, including measuring blood pressure and sugar levels.

The Chemistry and Physics Association, in cooperation with Nawa Laboratory and Helmet Hospital Laboratory, conducted tests to detect hepatitis C virus for inmates of reform institutions. On the awareness front, the Center for the Development of Democracy and Human Rights presented a specialized symposium on mental health that addressed problems of lack of sleep and depression and their treatment methods, while the Aran Organization organized a symposium on reintegrating former female inmates into society.

شهد اليوم الثالث من فعاليات أسبوع الصحة الإصلاحي في مدينة السليماني تنظيمًا مكثفًا للأنشطة الطبية والتوعوية، حيث قامت مدينة فاروق الطبية ومستشفى أنور شيخا بإعداد أجنحة صحية قدمت من خلالها فحوصات أولية للمواطنين شملت قياس ضغط الدم ومستوى السكري. كما نفذت جمعية الكيمياء والفيزياء، بالتعاون مع مختبر نوا ومختبر مستشفى الهلمت، فحوصات الكشف عن فيروس الالتهاب الكبدي (سي) لنزلاء المؤسسات الإصلاحية. وعلى الصعيد التوعوي، قدم مركز تطوير الديمقراطية وحقوق الإنسان ندوة تخصصية حول الصحة النفسية تناولت مشاكل قلة النوم والاكتئاب وطرق علاجها، بينما نظمت منظمة آران ندوة حول إعادة إدماج النزيلات السابقات في المجتمع.
