Food Basket Campaign contribution

Justice Network for prisoners  succeeded in conveying the voices of needy families to some companies in Sulaymaniyah Governorate to contribute to supporting them during the holy month of Ramadan. Through coordination between the network and a donating company, the “People for People” initiative, implemented by the Public Aid Organization in Sulaymaniyah, was supported.

These efforts resulted in the distribution of more than 70 food baskets to needy families, including orphans and widows. The Public Aid Organization oversaw the distribution process through its volunteers, while the donating company contributed to preparing the food baskets and bore part of their transportation costs, preferring to remain anonymous out of its belief that humanitarian work is a fundamental duty.

شبكة العدالة للسجناء نجحت في إيصال صوت العوائل المحتاجة إلى بعض الشركات في محافظة السليمانية للمساهمة في دعمهم خلال شهر رمضان. وبالتنسيق بين الشبكة وإحدى الشركات المتبرعة، تم دعم مبادرة “الناس للناس” التي تنفذها منظمة النجدة الشعبية في السليمانية. وأسفرت هذه الجهود عن توزيع أكثر من 70 سلة غذائية على العوائل المحتاجة، بما في ذلك الأيتام والأرامل. وقد تولت منظمة النجدة الشعبية عملية التوزيع عبر متطوعيها، بينما ساهمت الشركة المتبرعة في إعداد السلات الغذائية وتحملت جزءاً من تكاليف نقلها، مع تفضيلها عدم ذكر اسمها إيماناً منها بأن العمل الإنساني .
