An awareness seminar in Baashiqah

On November 13th, an awareness seminar on human rights was held in the Baashiqah sub-district of Nineveh Governorate, sponsored by the “Justice Network  for Prisoners ” and the “Norwegian People’s Aid” organization. The seminar discussed the concept of human rights, with a focus on prisoners’ rights and the effects of the absence of equality. Participants exchanged their personal experiences. It was agreed that the main challenge lies in the practical application of laws, with recommendations to improve conditions in detention centers and to provide vocational training and legal awareness for prisoners.

ندوة توعوية في بعشيقة

بتاريخ 13 من تشرين الثاني عقدت في ناحية بعشيقة بمحافظة نينوى ندوة توعوية بحقوق الإنسان برعاية “شبكة العدالة للسجناء” و”منظمة مساعدات الشعب النرويجي”. ناقشت الندوة مفهوم حقوق الإنسان مع تركيز على حقوق السجناء وآثار غياب المساواة، وتبادل المشاركون تجاربهم الشخصية. تم الاتفاق على أن التحدي الرئيسي يكمن في التطبيق العملي للقوانين، مع التوصية بتحسين أوضاع مراكز التوقيف وتقديم تدريب مهني وتوعية قانونية للسجناء.
