A field visit (Najaf Central Prison)

English /ArabicImplemented by the Justice Network for Prisoners and funded by the Norwegian People’s Aid, the Al-Rasid Center for Human Rights conducted a field visit to the Najaf Central Prison, affiliated with the Ministry of Interior, on August 10, 2025.

During the visit, the team coordinated with the facility’s administration to meet with inmates from various categories. The tour was limited to the administrative areas of the facility, where some of the facilities were observed.

This activity is part of the efforts of organizations working in the field of social justice to promote transparency and improve prison conditions. Efforts continue to coordinate with relevant authorities to achieve the program’s objectives.
