نظمت منظمة هارتلاند الاينز بتأريخ 27 / 1 / 2020 في فندق كرستال / اربيل ، جلسة حوارية حول قانون حماية الشهود و الخبراء و المخبرين و المجنى عليهم ذي الرقم 58 لسنة 2017 و المنشور في الوقائع العراقية في عددها 4445 الصادر في 2 آيار 2017 …
و كان هدف الجلسة مناقشة محتوى هذا القانون الذي لا ينفذ في اقليم كوردستان الا بعد صدور قانون انفاذ من برلمان كوردستان العراق ، و ذلك لمعرفة مدى حاجة محاكم الاقليم لمثل هذا القانون و لمثل الحماية الواردة فيه للشهود و الخبراء و المخبرين و المجنى عليهم ، بهدف رفع توصية الجلسة الحوارية الى برلمان كوردستان لغرض تشريع قانون انفاذ لهذا القانون أو الاكتفاء بما وردت من مواد في قانون اصول المحاكمات الجزائية العراقي رقم 23 لسنة 1971 المعدل بشأن حماية المشار اليهم في القانون الجديد .
و قد شارك في الجلسة الحوارية قضاة و مدعون عامون و محامون و محقققين و ممثلي الهيئات و استاذة الجامعة و المنظمات … بالاضافة الى مشاركة عدد من البرلمانيين للإطلاع على المناقشات عن قرب
انتهت الجلسة بعدد من التوصيات و الملاحظات الجوهرية على القانون المشار اليه اعلاه .
