A field visit to the Reformatory of Sulaymaniyah

On October 16, 2025, the Wchan Organization conducted a field visit to the women’s and juveniles’ Reformatory in Sulaymaniyah. This visit was part of the project to improve the conditions of human rights in Iraqi prisons, in cooperation with the Justice Network for Prisoners  and funded by the Norwegian People’s Aid.

It is worth mentioning that the administration of the correctional facility demonstrated significant cooperation during the visit. Meanwhile, the organization continues its efforts to improve the conditions of the inmates and contribute to reducing aspects of inequality.
