ضمن مشروع تحسين أوضاع حقوق النزلاء والمحتجزين الذي تنفذه شبكة العدالة في العراق وبدعم من مساعدات الشعب النرويجي قامت منظمة المنقذ بزيارة بعض المؤسسات السجنية في بغداد وذلك للأطلاع على اوضاع حقوق النزلاء ومدى التزام الادارات السجنية بالمعايير الدنيا لمعاملة السجناء ومعرفة الاليات المتبعة وفقا للقانون بمعاملة السجناء وتوفير المتطلبات الأساسية التي نص عليها القانون ومعرفة الجوانب الصحية والترفيهية ومعرفة مستوى برامج التأهيل والادماج المجتمعي الذي تقوم بها الادارات السجنية والوقوف على الواقع الحقيقي للظروف الحالية للنزلاء ومعرفة الاحتياجات الضرورية للنزلاء والإدارة السجنية

As part of the project to improve the conditions of inmates and detainees implemented by the Justice Network in Iraq with support from Norwegian People’s Aid, the Rescue Organization conducted visits to several prison facilities in Baghdad. The purpose was to assess the inmates’ rights and to gauge the extent to which prison administrations adhere to minimum standards for the treatment of prisoners. The visits aimed to understand the mechanisms employed in accordance with the law regarding prisoner treatment and the provision of basic requirements mandated by law. Additionally, the organization sought to assess the health and recreational aspects, as well as the level of rehabilitation and social integration programs implemented by prison administrations. This was all done to gain insight into the actual conditions of inmates and identify their essential needs along with those of the prison administration
