Build the Capacity

Specialized Training to Build the Capacity of NGOs Organized by the Justice for Prisoners Network
On July 9, 2025, the Justice for Prisoners Network, in coordination with the People’s Relief Organization, held a virtual training session on “Institutional Development for NGOs,” with the participation of 25 volunteers from member organizations of the network.
The trainers, Hanaa Mahmood and Fatima Mustafa, provided specialized content to enhance organizations’ capacities in governance, strategic management, and funding, with a focus on enabling them to effectively contribute to sustainable development goals.
The program included comprehensive evaluation tools covering seven key areas, ranging from human resources management to external relations, while training participants on mechanisms for preparing professional reports and conducting field assessments.
This training was part of a series of efforts by the Justice for Prisoners Network and its partners to improve the efficiency of civil society organizations and strengthen their role in serving humanitarian and developmental causes in Iraq.
