The Justice Network for Prisoners / Executive Office presented the Mandela Award to Mr. Dindar Zebari, the Coordinator of the Kurdistan Regional Government for following up and implementing United Nations human rights recommendations, particularly the issuance of instructions regarding the prevention of torture in investigation and correctional institutions. This step reflects appreciation for the efforts made in this humanitarian field. Mr. Hoger Chato, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Popular Aid Organization, presented the award to Mr. Dindar Zebari on January 4, 2025, emphasizing the importance of joint work in supporting prisoners’ rights and promoting the values of justice and human dignity.

قامت شبكة العدالة للسجناء / المكتب التنفيذي بتسليم جائزة مانديلا إلى السيد ديندار زيباري، منسق حكومة إقليم كردستان لمتابعة وتنفيذ توصيات حقوق الإنسان الصادرة عن الأمم المتحدة، بالأخص اصدار التعليمات خاص بمنع التعذيب في المؤسسات التحقيق و الاصلاحيات في خطوة تعكس التقدير للجهود المبذولة في هذا المجال الإنساني. وقد قام السيد هوگر چتو، رئيس مجلس الأمناء في منظمة النجدة الشعبية، بتسليم الجائزة للسيد ديندار زيباري بتاريخ 4 كانون الثاني 2025، تأكيدًا على أهمية العمل المشترك في دعم حقوق السجناء وتعزيز قيم العدالة والكرامة الإنسانية
