“Alternatives to Violence” training-Last Day

Erbil – 15 October 2026:

’ Justice Network for  Prisoners concluded the “Alternatives to Violence” training on its third and final day, in cooperation with Forum ZFD and the Directorate of Social Reform. The training focused on strengthening skills in peaceful conflict resolution and peacebuilding, adopting alternative methodologies in addressing daily challenges away from violence, and developing the practical skills of workers in the corrections and prisons sector. The training served as a platform for exchanging expertise among participants, thereby enhancing shared understanding of the importance of applying humane practices that uphold the dignity of inmates and support their rehabilitation, as part of efforts aimed at supporting reformative justice and protecting human rights.

اختتمت شبكة العدالة للسجناء تنظيمها للتدريب “بدائل العنف” في يومه الثالث والأخير بالتعاون مع منظمة Forum ZFD ومديرية الإصلاح الاجتماعي. ويركّز التدريب على تعزيز مهارات الحل السلمي للنزاعات وبناء السلام، واعتماد منهجيات بديلة في التعامل مع التحديات اليومية بعيداً عن العنف، إضافة إلى تطوير المهارات العملية للعاملين في قطاع الإصلاحيات والسجون. ويشكّل التدريب منصة لتبادل الخبرات بين المشاركين، بما يعزز الفهم المشترك لأهمية تطبيق ممارسات إنسانية تصون كرامة النزلاء وتدعم إعادة تأهيلهم، ضمن الجهود الرامية إلى دعم العدالة الإصلاحية وحماية حقوق الإنسان.
