Activities of the Second Day – September 1, 2026 – of the “Health Week” Campaign

Implemented by the Justice Network for Prisoners at Al-Hilla Reformotorey  (Women and Juveniles), funded by the Norwegian People’s Aid, and through Al-Mizan Center for the Support of the Rule of Law. The activities included the following:

First: Specialized Gynecological Medical Examinations
Conducted by Dr. Alaa Yaqoub, a specialist gynecologist, who examined 35 female inmates and recorded clinical observations for each case.

Second: Pharmaceutical Diagnosis and Prescription of Treatments
Also carried out by Dr. Alaa Yaqoub, who identified established drug regimens in official prescriptions, which were handed over to Al-Mizan Center for later provision.

Third: Health Awareness and Women’s Health Education
Delivered by the awareness team of the Justice Network, through a short lecture on personal hygiene and symptoms of common gynecological conditions, along with the distribution of educational brochures.

Fourth: Organization of a Medical Follow-up Schedule
Overseen by the staff of Al-Mizan Center, in coordination with the prison administration, to set dates for upcoming rounds and to follow up on cases requiring urgent intervention.

Fifth: Psychological and Social Support
Provided by a psychologist from the network’s team (name not mentioned), through individual and group sessions for inmates who showed a need for emotional support.

فعاليات اليوم الثاني بتاريخ 1 سبتمبر 2026لحملة “الأسبوع الصحي” التي تنفّذها شبكة العدالة للسجناء في سجن الحلة الإصلاحي (النساء والأحداث)، وبتمويل من منظمة مساعدات الشعب النرويجي، ومن خلال مركز الميزان لدعم حكم القانون، ، تضمّن الأنشطة التالية:

أولاً: الفحص الطبي النسائي المتخصص

قامت به الدكتورة الاختصاصية النسائية آلاء يعقوب، حيث فحصت 35 نزيلة، وسجّلت الملاحظات السريرية لكل حالة.

ثانياً: التشخيص الدوائي ووصف العلاجات

قامت به الدكتورة آلاء يعقوب أيضاً، بتحديد مجموعات دوائية مثبتة في وصفات طبية رسمية، تم تسليمها لمركز الميزان لتجهيزها لاحقاً.

ثالثاً: التوعية الصحية والتثقيف النسائي

نفّذته فريق التوعية التابع لشبكة العدالة، عبر محاضرة قصيرة حول النظافة الشخصية وأعراض الأمراض النسائية الشائعة، مع توزيع منشورات تثقيفية.

رابعاً: تنظيم جدول المتابعة الطبية

أشرف عليه كادر مركز الميزان، بالتعاون مع إدارة السجن، لتحديد مواعيد الجولات القادمة ومتابعة الحالات التي تحتاج تدخلاً عاجلاً.

خامساً: الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي

قدّمته اختصاصية نفسية من فريق الشبكة (لم يُذكر اسمها)، عبر جلسات فردية جماعية للنزيلات اللواتي أظهرن حاجة للدعم المعنوي.
