Visit the Women’s and Juvenile Reformotory  in Sulaymaniyah

On May 29, 2026, the People’s Organization for Development conducted a field visit to the Women’s and Juvenile Reformotory  in Sulaymaniyah, as part of the project “Enhancing Human Rights in Iraqi Prisons.” The visit aimed to assess the living conditions and basic rights of female detainees, with a particular focus on infrastructure indicators such as separate housing, women’s healthcare services, and services for accompanying children. The visit was carried out with the support of the Norwegian People’s Aid and in collaboration withJustice Network for  the Prisoners’

في 29 أيار 2026، نفّذت منظمة الناس للتنمية زيارة ميدانية إلى إصلاحية النساء والأحداث في السليمانية، ضمن مشروع تعزيز حقوق الإنسان في السجون العراقيةللاطلاع للاوضاع المعيشية والحقوق الأساسية للنزيلات ، مع التركيز على مؤشرات البنية التحتية كالسكن المنفصل، الرعاية الصحية النسائية، وخدمات الأطفال المرافقين.تأتي الزيارة بدعم من منظمة مساعدات الشعب النرويجي وبالتعاون مع شبكة العدالة للسجناء
