Field Visit to Diyala Prison to Assess Inmates’ Needs

On June 28, 2026, the “Erada Organization for Relief and Development,” in collaboration with the’ Justice Network for Prisoners and funded by the “Norwegian People’s Aid,” conducted a field visit to Diyala Reformotory .
The visit aimed to closely assess the living conditions of inmates and identify their core needs in health, livelihood, and rehabilitation sectors, in preparation for providing necessary support in partnership with relevant authorities.
The Organization reaffirmed its commitment to following up on this file and working towards improving humanitarian conditions within correctional institutions, ensuring inmates’ dignity and enhancing their chances of successful reintegration.

زيارة ميدانية إلى سجن ديالى لتقييم احتياجات النزلاء
نفذت منظمة “الإرادة للإغاثة والتنمية”، وبالتعاون مع “شبكة العدالة للسجناء” وبتمويل من “مساعدات الشعب النرويجي”، زيارة ميدانية إلى سجن إصلاح ديالى بتاريخ 28 حزيران 2026.
هدفت الزيارة إلى الاطلاع على أوضاع النزلاء عن كثب، وحصر احتياجاتهم الأساسية في الجوانب الصحية والمعيشية والتأهيلية، تمهيداً لتقديم الدعم اللازم لهم بالشراكة مع الجهات المعنية.
وأكدت المنظمة التزامها بمتابعة الملف والعمل على تحسين الظروف الإنسانية داخل المؤسسات الإصلاحية، بما يضمن كرامة النزلاء ويعزز فرص إعادة تأهيلهم.
