Conclusion of the 2026 Health Week Activities in Erbil Reformotories

Today, 1 November 2026, the activities of Health Week in theReformotories  of Erbil Governorate concluded. The event was organized and implemented by tJustice Network the Prisoners (JNP), funded by the Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA), in cooperation with the General Directorate of Social Reform in the Kurdistan Region, and in partnership with Sororan Pharmacy, the Dentists’ Syndicate, the Public Aid Organization (PAO), the Idris Al-Surji Foundation, ProTeam, Adyan Foundation, Medical World Company, Okrin Company, and Rosa Organization for the Protection of Women and the Environment. The aim was to enhance health, preventive, and awareness services, improve access to healthcare, and support the health of male and female inmates in the targeted correctional facilities.

The closing day witnessed the distribution of more than 34 pieces of winter clothing to children accompanying their mothers in the women’s Reformotory , as part of efforts to meet their basic needs and improve their living conditions.

On the health side, Al-Kawakib Pharmaceuticals Company delivered more than 1,850 medicine packages to the medical clinic in the women’s and juveniles’ Reformotory  through Justice Network the Prisoners, in coordination with the facility administration and the General Directorate of Social Reform, in support of the medical services provided to beneficiaries.

At the conclusion of the day’s activities, Mr. Ihsan Baban, Director General of the General Directorate of Social Reform in the Kurdistan Region, received representatives of Justice Network the Prisoners’ , headed by the Network’s Executive Director, along with the companies and organizations participating in the campaign. He praised their efforts and role in making the Health Week activities a success, and presented them with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their contribution to the campaign.

The conclusion of Health Week 2026 comes as a culmination of the efforts of cooperation and coordination between Justice Network the Prisoners and the General Directorate of Social Reform in the Kurdistan Region, alongside health and humanitarian institutions and partner civil society organizations, contributing to the enhancement of health and preventive care, the preservation of the dignity of male and female inmates, and the improvement of their living conditions within Reformotory .

اختتام فعاليات الأسبوع الصحي لعام 2026 في إصلاحيات أربيل

اختُتمت اليوم، 1 تشرين الثاني 2026، فعاليات الأسبوع الصحي في إصلاحيات محافظة أربيل، بتنظيم وتنفيذ شبكة العدالة للسجناء (JNP)، وبتمويل من منظمة مساعدات الشعب النرويجي (NPA)، وبالتعاون مع المديرية العامة للإصلاح الاجتماعي في إقليم كوردستان، وبالشراكة مع صيدلية سروران، ونقابة أطباء الأسنان، ومنظمة النجدة الشعبية (PAO)، ومؤسسة إدريس السورجي، وشركة بروتيم (ProTeam)، ومؤسسة أديان، وشركة عالم الطب (Medical World)، وشركة Okrin، ومنظمة روزا لحماية المرأة والبيئة، بهدف تعزيز الخدمات الصحية والوقائية والتوعوية، وتحسين فرص الوصول إلى الرعاية الصحية، ودعم صحة النزلاء والنزيلات داخل الإصلاحيات المستهدفة.

وشهد اليوم الختامي توزيع أكثر من 34 قطعة من الملابس الشتوية على الأطفال المصاحبين لأمهاتهم في إصلاحية النساء، في إطار الجهود الرامية إلى تلبية احتياجاتهم الأساسية وتحسين ظروفهم المعيشية.

وفي الجانب الصحي، سلّمت شركة الكواكب للأدوية أكثر من1850 من عبوات الأدوية إلى العيادة الطبية في إصلاحية النساء والأحداث، من خلال شبكة العدالة للسجناء، وبالتنسيق مع إدارة الإصلاحية والمديرية العامة للإصلاح الاجتماعي، دعماً للخدمات الطبية المقدمة للمستفيدين.

وفي ختام فعاليات اليوم، استقبل السيد إحسان بابان، المدير العام للمديرية العامة للإصلاح الاجتماعي في إقليم كوردستان، ممثلي شبكة العدالة للسجناء وعلى رأسهم المدير التنفيذي لشبكة العدالة للسجناء والشركات والمنظمات المشاركة في الحملة، حيث ثمّن جهودهم ودورهم في إنجاح فعاليات الأسبوع الصحي، وقام بتسليمهم شهادات تقديرية تقديراً لمساهمتهم في الحملة.

ويأتي اختتام الأسبوع الصحي لعام 2026 تتويجاً لجهود التعاون والتنسيق بين شبكة العدالة للسجناء والمديرية العامة للإصلاح الاجتماعي في إقليم كوردستان، إلى جانب المؤسسات الصحية والإنسانية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني الشريكة، بما يسهم في تعزيز الرعاية الصحية والوقائية، وصون كرامة النزلاء والنزيلات، وتحسين ظروفهم المعيشية داخل الإصلاحيات.
