Art Therapy Session -Maysan,

In cooperation with Justice Network for the Prisoners’ and funded by the Norwegian People’s Aid, Al-Huda Foundation for Strategic Studies, in coordination with the Human Rights Commission Office in Maysan, organized a psychosocial support session on May 21, 2026, targeting a number of individuals convicted on drug-related charges inside Al-Amara Prison, in the presence of the prison administration.

The session witnessed positive interaction from the participants, as it included supportive therapeutic activities such as drawing to express their feelings and aspirations for a better life. Emphasis was placed on the importance of continuing reform and rehabilitation programs and enhancing humanitarian support within correctional institutions.

بالتعاون مع شبكة العدالة للسجناء وبتمويل من منظمة مساعدات الشعب النرويجي، نظّمت مؤسسة الهدى للدراسات الاستراتيجية، وبالتنسيق مع مكتب مفوضية حقوق الإنسان في ميسان، جلسة للدعم النفسي والاجتماعي بتاريخ 21/5/2026 استهدفت عدداً من المحكومين بقضايا المخدرات داخل سجن العمارة، بحضور إدارة السجن.

وشهدت الجلسة تفاعلاً إيجابياً من المشاركين، حيث تضمنت أنشطة علاجية داعمة منها الرسم للتعبير عن مشاعرهم وتطلعاتهم نحو حياة أفضل، مع التأكيد على أهمية استمرار برامج الإصلاح والتأهيل وتعزيز الدعم الإنساني داخل المؤسسات الإصلاحية
