Third Day of the Weekly Health Campaign in Sulaymaniyah (August 11, 2026)

Organized by the Justice Network for Prisoners’ and funded by the Norwegian People’s Aid, the third day of the weekly health campaign witnessed the provision of a comprehensive package of integrated services to inmates at the Directorate of Adult, Women’s, and Juvenile Reformatories, delivered by each party as follows:

First: The Human Rights Office in Sulaymaniyah
Held an awareness seminar on “The Right to Health Care for Prisoners,” based on the teachings of the Universal Principles of Human Rights, within the Adult Reformatory section.

Second: The Public Aid Organization
Organized a specialized seminar on drug addiction treatment, targeting inmates of the Adult Reformatory to educate them on recovery and prevention methods.

Third: The Health Sector Syndicate in Sulaymaniyah
Provided ambulances for the periodic transport of patients to ensure rapid response to emergency cases within the correctional institutions.

Fourth: Anwar Sheikha Hospital
Deployed a mobile medical team accompanied by a specialist doctor to provide direct health services to male and female inmates at the Directorate of Adult, Women’s, and Juvenile Reformatories, including examinations and primary treatments.

اليوم الثالث من الحملة الصحية الأسبوعية في السليمانية (11 آب 2026)

بتنظيم من شبكة العدالة للسجناء وبتمويل من منظمة مساعدات الشعب النرويجي، شهد اليوم الثالث من الحملة الصحية الأسبوعية تقديم حزمة من الخدمات المتكاملة للنزلاء في مديرية إصلاح الكبار والنساء والأحداث، قدمتها كل جهة على النحو التالي:

أولاً: مكتب حقوق الإنسان في السليمانية
أقام ندوة توعوية حول “الحق في الرعاية الصحية للسجناء”، استناداً إلى تعاليم المبادئ العالمية لحقوق الإنسان، وذلك داخل قسم إصلاحية الكبار.

ثانياً: منظمة النجدة الشعبية
نظّمت ندوة متخصصة حول معالجة الإدمان على المواد المخدرة، استهدفت نزلاء إصلاحية الكبار، لتوعيتهم بسبل التعافي والوقاية.

ثالثاً: نقابة القطاع الصحي في السليمانية
وفّرت سيارات إسعاف لنقل المرضى بشكل دوري، لضمان سرعة الاستجابة للحالات الطارئة داخل المؤسسات الإصلاحية.

رابعاً: مستشفى أنور شيخة
قدّمت فريقاً طبياً نقالاً يرافقه طبيب مختص، لتقديم الخدمات الصحية المباشرة للنزلاء والنزيلات في مديرية إصلاح الكبار والنساء والأحداث، شملت الفحوصات والعلاجات الأولية.
