Rosa’s First Visit

On April 6, 2026, the Rosa Organization for the Protection of Women and the Environment organized its first visit to the Women’s and Juveniles Reformatory  in Erbil. During the visit, a meeting was held with the Reformatory  director to examine the actual working conditions within the institution and to discuss key issues related to convicts and detainees, as well as the challenges affecting the workflow. Extensive discussions took place on ways to improve conditions and overcome obstacles, in collaboration with the Justice Network for Prisoners and with funding from the Norwegian People’s Aid.
