In Sulaymaniyah Reformotory. A Field Visit Monitors Challenges and Needs

In cooperation with Justice Network and with funding from the Norwegian People’s Aid, the Nas Organization for Development conducted a field visit to the Women’s and Juvenilesr Reformotory  in Sulaymaniyah Governorate on August 11, 2026, as part of its efforts to monitor the conditions of the most vulnerable groups within correctional institutions.

The visit aimed to assess the reality of living conditions and basic rights for female detainees and minors, as the team documented a number of indicators related to health facilities and the availability of adequate amenities for this group, in addition to holding meetings with the facility’s administration to learn about the nature of daily treatment and the procedures in place.

في إصلاحية السليمانية.. زيارة ميدانية ترصد التحديات والاحتياجات

بالتعاون مع شبكة العدالة للسجناء وبتمويل من منظمة مساعدات الشعب النرويجي، نفذت منظمة ناس للتنمية زيارة ميدانية إلى إصلاحية النساء والأحداث في محافظة السليمانية بتاريخ 11 آب 2026، في إطار جهودها لمتابعة أوضاع الفئات الأكثر هشاشة داخل المؤسسات الإصلاحية.

وهدفت الزيارة إلى تقييم واقع الظروف المعيشية والحقوق الأساسية للنزيلات والقاصرين، حيث رصد الفريق جملة من المؤشرات المرتبطة بالتجهيزات الصحية، ومدى توفر المرافق الملائمة لهذه الفئة، إلى جانب عقد لقاءات مع إدارة الإصلاحية للاطلاع على طبيعة المعاملة اليومية والإجراءات المتبعة.
