Day Four of the Health Campaign

Implemented by: ‘ Justice Network for The Prisoners, through Al-Risala Organization for Human Rights, in cooperation with Al-Najda Al-Sha’biya Organization, and funded by the Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA).

• Sports and Physical Fitness: Conducted by the Banaat Al-Ghad Volunteer Team, which included an awareness session and practical exercises for inmates on the importance of sports and physical activity, along with a discussion on rehabilitating the sports yard.

• Psychological Support and Self-Empowerment: Carried out by the Bau Volunteer Team, featuring motivational and psychological sessions, experience-sharing activities, and distribution of awareness brochures.

• Medical Examinations: Performed by specialist physicians in internal medicine and dermatology, covering more than 200 inmates, including checks for blood pressure, blood sugar, and skin diseases, along with diagnosis and provision of necessary treatments.

• Medical Needs Assessment: A dialogue session was held with the participation of doctors, prison administration, and volunteer teams to discuss chronic and skin diseases, treatment requirements, and to develop necessary recommendations for the continuity of healthcare.
