..نظمت شبكة العدالة للسجناء، بدعم من منظمة الشعب النرويجي، مؤتمرًا وحملة مناصرة لدعم حقوق المحكومين، جمعت بين رئاسة حكومة إقليم كردستان، ورئاسة مجلس الوزراء، ومجلس القضاء، ووزارة الداخلية، ووزارة التربية، ووزارة العمل والشؤون الاجتماعية، والهيئة المستقلة لحقوق الإنسان، ووزارة الأوقاف، ووزارة البيشمركة، ومكافحة الإرهاب، ودائرة الأسايش العامة، ودائرة المنظمات غير الحكومية، والمديرية العامة للإصلاح الاجتماعي، ومنظمات المجتمع المدني، والمنظمات الدولية. تناول المؤتمر تحقيق خطة إقليم كردستان العراق لحقوق الإنسان خلال الفترة من 2021 إلى 2025.
أقيمت الجلسة في فندق فان رويال أربيل بتاريخ 13 كانون الأول 2023، وخلال المؤتمر الذي كان جزءاً من الاستعراض الدوري الشامل، تمت مناقشة مجموعة من التوصيات المقترحة من الجهات المشاركة بشأن أوضاع المحكومين على وجه الخصوص، وكذلك أوضاع حقوق الإنسان بشكل عام. تم تقديم هذه التوصيات إلى حكومة إقليم كردستان ومجلس الوزراء من قبل مكتب منسق التوصيات الدولية لاتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة في إطار خطة الفترة 2021-2025
The Justice Network for Prisoners, with the support of the Norwegian People’s Organization, organized a conference and advocacy campaign to support the rights of prisoners. The event brought together the Kurdistan Regional Government, the Cabinet, the Judiciary Council, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the Independent Human Rights Commission, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Peshmerga Ministry, Counter-Terrorism, General Asayish Department, Non-Governmental Organizations Department, General Directorate of Social Rehabilitation, Civil Society Organizations, and International Organizations. The conference focused on implementing the Kurdistan Region of Iraq’s human rights plan for the period 2021-2025.
The session took place at the Van Royal Erbil Hotel on December 13, 2023. During the conference, which was part of the comprehensive periodic review, discussions revolved around a set of recommendations proposed by the participating entities concerning the specific conditions of prisoners and the overall human rights situation. These recommendations were presented to the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Cabinet by the Office of the Coordinator of International Recommendations for necessary actions within the framework of the 2021-2025 plan.
