مكتب المفوضية في ذي قار يستقبل وفد منظمة عراقنا الانسانية المستقلة لبحث أطر التعاون المشترك
استقبل السيد مدير مكتب المفوضية العليا لحقوق الانسان في ذي قار وبحضور السيد معاون مدير المكتب وعدد من مسؤولي الشعب والملفات بتاريخ 15 / 4 / 2024 وفد منظمة عراقنا الانسانية المستقلة حيث ضم الوفد كلاً من السيد عبد الرسول لفتة الزبيدي والسيد رحيم سلمان السهلاني ، تناول اللقاء التباحث حول مجمل الملفات المتعلقة بحقوق الانسان ومناقشة آلية دعم الملفات التي تعنى بحماية حقوق الانسان وكيفية معالجة بعض الظواهر السلبية كالادمان على المخدرات والتسول والتشرد ، بالاضافة الى استعراض الية عمل المنظمة ودورها في تعزيز مبادى حقوق الانسان من خلال برامجها التي تصب لخدمة المجتمع .
من جانبه قدم السيد مدير مكتب المفوضية العليا لحقوق الانسان شرحاً تفصيلياً عن طبيعة عمل المفوضية واهم الملفات التي يتم متابعتها من قبل فرق الرصد التابعة للمكتب .
وعلى هامش اللقاء تم مناقشة الية تعزيز التعاون المشترك بين مكتب المفوضية والمنظمة والوقوف على اهم التحديات التي يعاني منها المواطن في محافظة ذي قار والسبل الكفيلة لتذليلها وضرورة توحيد وتكثيف الجهود الرامية الى حماية وتعزيز واقع حقوق الانسان في المحافظة من خلال تنمية وتطوير الموارد البشرية المتاحة وفتح افاق جديدة للعمل المشترك وتبادل الخبرات مع منظمات المجتمع المدني
The Office of the High Commission for Human Rights in Thi Qar received a delegation from Our Independent Iraqi Humanitarian Organization to discuss frameworks for mutual cooperation. Mr. Director of the Office, along with the Deputy Director and several officials, welcomed the delegation of Our Independent Iraqi Humanitarian Organization on April 15, 2024. The delegation included Mr. Abdul Rasul Lafet Al-Zubaidi and Mr. Rahim Salman Al-Sahalani. The meeting discussed various human rights issues and mechanisms to support files related to human rights protection, as well as addressing negative phenomena such as drug addiction, begging, and homelessness. Additionally, the organization’s work mechanism and its role in promoting human rights principles through its community service programs were reviewed.
The Director of the Office of the High Commission for Human Rights provided a detailed explanation of the Commission’s work nature and the most important files monitored by the monitoring teams under the office.
On the sidelines of the meeting, discussions were held on enhancing mutual cooperation between the Commission’s office and the organization, addressing the main challenges faced by citizens in Thi Qar province, and the necessary means to overcome them. It emphasized the need to unify and intensify efforts to protect and enhance the human rights situation in the province through the development of available human resources and opening new avenues for joint work and exchanging experiences with civil society organizations.
