Organized by the Justice Network for Prisoners’ and funded by the Norwegian People’s Aid, the third day of the weekly health campaign witnessed the provision of a comprehensive package of integrated services to inmates at the Directorate of Adult, Women’s, and Juvenile Reformatories, delivered by each party as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

First: The Human Rights Office in Sulaymaniyah<\/span><\/strong>
\nHeld an awareness seminar on “The Right to Health Care for Prisoners,” based on the teachings of the Universal Principles of Human Rights, within the Adult Reformatory section.<\/span><\/p>\n

Second: The Public Aid Organization<\/span><\/strong>
\nOrganized a specialized seminar on drug addiction treatment, targeting inmates of the Adult Reformatory to educate them on recovery and prevention methods.<\/span><\/p>\n

Third: The Health Sector Syndicate in Sulaymaniyah<\/span><\/strong>
\nProvided ambulances for the periodic transport of patients to ensure rapid response to emergency cases within the correctional institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fourth: Anwar Sheikha Hospital<\/span><\/strong>
\nDeployed a mobile medical team accompanied by a specialist doctor to provide direct health services to male and female inmates at the Directorate of Adult, Women’s, and Juvenile Reformatories, including examinations and primary treatments.<\/span><\/p>\n
