Sulaymaniyah \u2013 August 9, 2026<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Today, the activities of “Health Week” were launched in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, organized by the Justice Network for Prisononers and donated by NPA\u00a0 with the aim of enhancing healthcare and paying attention to the health conditions of inmates in correctional institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n The first day of the campaign featured a press conference held at the Women’s, Juvenile, and Adult Reformotory in Sulaymaniyah, attended and participated in by a number of health and humanitarian entities and institutions, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Social Reform, the Directorate of Health, and the People’s Rescue Organization, along with several companies, hospitals, and health institutions participating in the campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n The first day’s activities included conducting medical check-ups for inmates at the Adult Reformotory, carried out by medical teams from the participating companies and hospitals, aimed at providing medical services and identifying health conditions requiring follow-up and care.<\/span><\/p>\n Proteam also participated in the campaign by carrying out fogging and disinfection operations at the Women’s and Juvenile Correctional Facility, as part of preventive measures aimed at providing a healthy and safe environment for female inmates, juveniles, and staff within the facility.<\/span><\/p>\n This campaign comes as part of the Justice Network for the prisoners efforts to promote the right to health within correctional institutions and to support cooperation and coordination between government entities, health institutions, civil society organizations, and the private sector, contributing to the improvement of the level of health services
