A field visit was conducted to the Women’s and Juvenile Reformatory Directorate in Dohuk Governorate on June 30, 2026, as part of the activities of the project “Enhancing Human Rights in Iraqi Prisons.” The visit was organized by the\u00a0 Kurdistan Human Rights Organization, in cooperation with the\u00a0 Justice Network for Prisoners’, and funded by the Norwegian People’s Aid Organization. The aim was to monitor the conditions of the reformatory institution, enhance transparency and respect for human rights, assess the reality of services provided to female detainees and juveniles, and ensure the application of international standards for legal, psychological, and social protection within the institution.<\/p>\n
