On July 22, 2025, a delegation from the Al-Huda Foundation for Strategic Studies, headed by Mr. Juma Karim Darajal, President of the Foundation, and Mr. Hussein Jallab Muhaisen, Vice President, accompanied by Mr. Ahmed Stori, Director of the Maysan Office of the Human Rights Commission, conducted an inspection visit to Al-Amara Central Prison.<\/p>\n

During the visit, which was carried out in cooperation with the Justice Network for Prisoners and funded by the Norwegian People’s Aid organization, the delegation met with the prison director, his deputy, the social worker, and the human rights officers working there. The delegation reviewed the conditions of the inmates and examined their records, while discussing several issues and inquiries that were addressed clearly and in detail by the officials.<\/p>\n
